Description
Sagartiidae with the column not differentiated into regions. Cinclides present on distal part of column, sometimes also near the limbus. Periderm and small solid papillae may be present but are usually lacking in British species. Suckers always absent. Mesenteries may be equal in number or more numerous distally than proximally; younger mesenteries may arise simultaneously in these two regions before appearing in the middle of the column. Catch-tentacles are not definitely recorded in this genus.
