Genus Actinia

Description
Actiniidae with the column divided into scapus and capitulum, with a parapet and fosse. Scapus smooth, without verrucae, rounded acrorhagi (usually blue in British species) are present in the fosse. Tentacles hexamerously arranged, readily retracted. Sphincter muscle diffuse but well-developed.
