Description
Actiniaria lacking basilar muscles and ciliated tracts, weak ectodermal longitudinal muscle is present on the column. With a flattened, adherent base forming an ill-defined disc. Tentacles are not retractile. Only eight perfect mesenteries (the "edwardsia" mesenteries) are present. Spirocysts are abundant in the ectoderm of the column.
