Description
Diadumenidae lacking a sphincter muscle. Column differentiated into scapus and capitulum, with a well-marked parapet and fosse always present in any state of extension. Two types of p-mastigophore occur in the acontia.
Type-species: Haliplanella Iineata (Verrill, 1869)
