Description
Hormathiidae with the column not differentiated into regions, tubercles absent. Cinclides present in a zone just above the limbus. Six pairs of perfect mesenteries only, these being sterile; more mesenteries present distally than proximally. Tentacles very numerous, usually in more than six cycles. Most species, if not all, are associated with hermit crabs.
